A Community group associated with JIS

Geckos is a friendly place to meet other parents with young children from birth to 3 years old.

We provide an informal play environment and opportunities to participate in other activities such as music and movement, swimming, story-telling and art.

Refreshments are provided for parents and books are for loan.

Parental supervision

Parents must be present at all times unless both parents are JIS teaching staff.

Opening times:

We are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings.

8:00 am to 11:00 am.

Scheduled events:

Monday – Library visit with Mrs Mann

Wednesday fortnightly – swimming and art

Friday – Sandpit and singing

How much is it:

There is a charge of $4 per visit per family and $5 on Wednesday for ‘toddle paddle days’. Kindly register and pay upon arrival.

First floor of the school gym.
